Connection and UTURN's main components are: Prayer, Worship, fellowship and God’s word
9th graders can attend both groups!
Sunday school class is every Sunday 9am at The Center
Connection: 9th-12th grades
“For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matt 18:20
We believe that fellowship is essential to maintaining a healthy Christian lifestyle. Connection is a safe place for young people to openly share their struggles, successes and how life effects their growing faith. We want every young person to have a personal encounter with Jesus AND share their faith with others. A big part of what we do at Connection is helping to make God’s word relevant in a young person’s life. In regards to faith, most teens have two basic questions: “Why should I believe?” and “What is my purpose in life?”. God has all the answers and by exploring His word, worshiping Him in song, and being diligent in our prayers, we believe answers will be found. The goal of every believer is best summed up :
“But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,” 1 Peter 3:15.
UTURN: 6th-9th grades “ A Dynamic place 2 B!”
“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
God is a dynamic God and has a dynamic plan for every young person’s life! Everything we do at Uturn Is dynamic; our worship, hearing God’s word, fellowship and prayer. We want the young people of today to be excited about God. Uturn is a fun, safe place where kids will encounter Jesus, and be accepted. We desire to help them learn and grow in their faith and encourage them to serve Jesus, in their lives and in the church, for a lifetime. Every single young person is important to us. We have a loving and devoted staff made up of adults and high school youth excited to meet new people and make them feel welcomed.
