A Word from Pastor Steve

Jesus said, "love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all soul and with all your mind... and love your neighbor as yourself." (Matthew 22:37-39) The idea of being here to love sure sounds simple enough. I suppose it is simple. But that does not mean it is easy. Love requires risk, sacrifice, forgiveness. It would seem that this love that God has called us to, must be a fearless love. No fear that love might cost me too much. No fear that this love I extend will be rejected. No fear that I might express this love inadequately. But to just go ahead and take the risk, because God takes the risk. Do as the Holy Spirit prompts me to do then trust that God will be glorified and His love will shine through.
